21st century skills for teachers

21st century skills comprise skills, abilities, and learning dispositions that have been identified as being required for success in 21st century society and workplaces by educators, business leaders, academics, and governmental agencies. My blogger will look the two icons that will help one in obtaining this skills.

This tool will be a storage for my activities and assessments or to say all my works will be dropped here. Every year I will have a record of activities  dropped off  here when ever I would love to get an activity I will just login and download it then print it for my learners this will really save my time. Its really easy to access this work everywhere I might find myself and plan more for a new day as I can view them on the palm of my hand. 

This is how I am going to start with it, i will first create an account at dropbox.com sign in and save my password then click create account. After that i will then start dropping all my files here then they will be saved here where i will always have an access to them every time and everywhere I am  my mobile phone, which will be easy for me to transfer even files from my phone to my computer.

  

A  dropbox is  private, therefore for my fellow teachers to be aware of this dropbox is only when i share the links to files or share the folder with them. I will urge every to have it for easy access to information. This dropbox will be used every time one has a file to upload or to get from it, so it will be used mostly every day of school.

You can transfer information either to your fellow teachers all either to your google drive its all in one and easy therefore i will show everyone the way how it will be done. 

2.  YOUTUBE

I will go to YouTube specifically for teachers and search all my activities there and they will come in videos form for me to learn from and get all the clues on how to prepare my own activities.It is very fast and I can access the activities even when am in class. Even physical activities where I might not know how to start its all made easy for me by YouTube no need for me to stress out and waste time.

The world we are living in today is full of scammers, hackers and evil people, to make my fellow teachers trust me and have a the energy to be going to YouTube i will explain to them how its going to work whereby I will create a YouTube channel to make it even more interesting I might name it after our school,( Olukolo primary school YouTubeForTeachers Channel) this gives them the trust of sharing their activities and be enthusiastic when using this channel. I will make an introductory video so that when people join this channel they know what is expected of them. This channel will make it easy for me and my colleagues to have access to all activities that we have done and in years to come we will have this channel to save our time.

at this channel all videos will be posted here by me and my fellow teachers and every time one would like to see the videos will have an easy access to them in no time. I will urge them to subscribe to the channel so that they will see all the post  mostly the new ones, they will be able to get the notifications on their phones when they get access to the internet.

Activities that are going to be uploaded on this channel wont only be used for that year nor only for  that day but is a life time saver, at times were one find him or her self not at the school it does not mean that they have to leave the channel for as long as they remain teachers even after leaving or being promoted to other schools they are still welcome to use this channel even those that have retired but still want to share with the upcoming generation their skills. Therefore this channel will be used every time, every year.
